Fuel is a major issue we see on a extremely regular basis, as modern engines are tuned to run extremely lean so they pass emission regulations. The small venturis and jets in carburettors become blocked or restricted when fuel becomes stale, causing all manner of running issues. Fuel becomes stale after 30 days, so we recommend draining your fuel system after use or using a fuel stabiliser to extend the life of your fuel.
